After completing the “Return 2 Zero” album in 2007 and the many shows promoting the record, The Jeff Carman Band (JCB) continued their relentless trek playing live and promoting their high energy stage show in the area. Recording for the double album began at Time Piece Music Studios in La Grande in June 2008. Basic tracks for the “ . . . The Light” album began to take shape and presented to the other band members in late 2008 for their influence. Around the same time, talk in the band to record a new demo began to morph into tracking 15 of their best cover songs that best compliment the band live. Tracking began in January 2009 in both Time Piece Music Studios and Digital Whispers Studios often time running parallel to each other and while continuing their live shows with bookings into 2010.

$5 of every album sold will be donated to the Crystal L Werner and The Sam
Werner Fund at Community Bank located at 2313 Adams Ave , La Grande, 97850 to help out a friend of the band, Sam Werner and his parents as he battles Lymphocytic Leukemia.
