Bio
Jeff Carman got his start in music at age sixteen. He started his first cover band in 1990 under the name "Stratus". They later dissolved and Jeff moved to Portland, OR to join "Tommy Gunn", but later returned to Eastern Oregon to form "Napalm Blue" with Christopher Bechtel and Ron Abram from "Stratus". Jeff then joined the popular cover band I4NI. During this time, Jeff worked continually on demos for his first album, in hopes to be released in the summer of 1995. Once Jeff left I4NI, he took some time away from live music to work on his original songs. He moved to McMinnville, Oregon to form Time Piece Music where he would eventually release his first album titled "Call It What You Want". Released to positive reviews, Jeff then returned to live music to form the cover band "Morning Wood". Jeff then returned to Eastern Oregon to form "The Dead Ringers" with Christopher Bechtel & Nate Greer. They released one album before Nate returned to the Navy. Then Jeff and Chris formed "Aftershock" with Joe Maffeo and Bekah Kinney. Then came "The Crossroad Band" which involves Christopher Bechtel and Joe Maffeo. Jeff has also released another solo album titled "Lost Horizons" in the summer of 2003 as well. From there, he took over the drumming duties for I4NI as well. 2004 was busy as well as Jeff was also drumming & singing for X-Factor while recording a new side project featuring some of his blues, funk and R & B songs. The album was released to critical acclaim in 2005 and was titled Jeff Carman and the Cadillac Daddies. Jeff returned to drumming duties for X-Factor and played some side shows with the Cadillac Daddies. In early 2006, Jeff returned to the studio to start his latest creation and his return to rock ' roll. In January 2007, he formed "The Jeff Carman Band" (JCB) with Christopher Bechtel, Marc Case & Trevor Dunn. In July 2007, the new album was released "Return 2 Zero" by Time Piece Music & Digital Whispers Music and JCB toured through 2008. The band recorded a double album of covers & original acoustic material in 2009. "Shadows In The Light" was released in July 2009.
