The writing for these original songs began back in 2003 when Jeff developed the concept for a “blues” based band & album. The idea was shelved until mid 2004 when the “Grady Darrow Cancer Fund” called upon Jeff to submit a original song for his CD “Dreams in G” – also featuring other local artists such as Jimmy Lloyd Rea, Mike Mallory, Al “Too Loud” MacLeod, the Grande Ronde Blues Band & Terry LaMont. Jeff went to work with producer & guitarist Christopher Bechtel in his locally owned & operated digital studio ‘Digital Whispers” to record 4 tracks for possible submission with the songs Jeff had wrote back in 2003. The album featured 2 original cuts “Give The Devil His Due” and a re-worked song originally titled “Drama Queen” which became “TJ Don't Live Here No More”. While recording the songs – the idea for a new album & band came into play and set into motion a 10 month stint in the studio to record these songs. All songs feature a variety of local talent including Jeff on Guitar, Bass Guitar & Lead Vocals, Christopher Bechtel on Guitar, Jamie Werner also on Bass Guitar, “Shady” Grady Darrow on Harmonica, Scott Arnson on Guitar, Deborah Kaye Rudd on Background Vocals & Co-Lead Vocals on “Tied To Be True” & Meegan Foster on Co-Lead Vocals on the track “Can’t Get Close To You”.
