Jeff Carman - Everything Else!

All songs by Jeff Carman except "How Long" by Dan J. Davis

After giving his whole songwriting career a retrospective look back, Jeff thought that he might have enough material for a 'Best Of' package. Mainly for the reasons of upgrading the sound quality from the previous recordings and to the fact that the first four albums Jeff released were out of stock for over a year. Jeff started re-mastering the original tracks immediately after the 'Bare Bones" sessions in the summer of 2001. He released it in the winter of 2001 to a great demand. The first edition was sold out within two months of it's release and still remains a popular album to date. For the cover art, Jeff decided to use personal photos of him in his various different bands from 1990 to 2001. Jeff also debated about making the album a two disc set, but decided against it in fear of overloading the consumers. The only un-released song on the album Blues Song, had started in his earlier group 'Napalm Blue', after High - Heeled Misery became popular for the group. It was shelved until the 'Bare Bones' sessions when Jeff re-wrote the music for it - giving it more of a southern blues feel.
